Hug in a Mug

STORY

The stress of this current situation is taking an emotional toll on many of us. Our front-line workers and first-responders are especially at risk. We wanted to send out a little encouragement to let them know they are not alone in this present struggle. God cares.

HUG IN A MUG includes a knitted pocket prayer shawl by Laura Cloud with the verse Psalm 46:10: “Be still and know that I am God.” Hand-crafted masks by Loving Covers wrap each mug with whimsical fabric. Sweet treats from Share the Joy ministry of St. Matthew completes the Hug. Assembled by the amazing Marrano Family and delivered, in the name of Christ, through Fusion.

Social Impact

A Hug in a Mug holds thoughtfulness, appreciation, and gratitude. It’s a warm way to say, “I’m thinking about you and you are not alone.”  https://www.randomactsofkindness.org/the-science-of-kindness

SPIRITUAL Connection

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10 ESV

By providing with Purpose, you bring together small acts of kindness with faithful acts of service.

Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. AMEN.
